      Ukraine: Self-defence units guard HQ following 'Kiev offensive'

      Member of self-defence units in Slavyansk were guarding the headquarters in the occupied SBU (Ukrainian Security Service) building on Friday morning, following a reported an offensive by the Ukrainian military.

      A television station, police station and checkpoint have allegedly been seized, while gunfire was reported.

      One person was allegedly killed and another taken captive when a Ukrainian military helicopter was reportedly shot down.
