Worshippers packed the Church of Saint Sava Sunday, for a midnight service marking Easter. It was led by the Bishop Andrej Remezijanski and clergy from various Belgrade churches.
The Church of Saint Sava is the largest Orthodox church in the world, capable of holding nearly 11,000 worshippers. Though the majority of construction was completed in 1989, interior work is ongoing. It is named after Saint Sava, the founder of the Serbian Orthodox Church.
