Ukraine: Military helicopters in Mariupol International Airport

Several military helicopters belonging to the Ukrainian military are grounded at Mariupol International Airport, Thursday. According to Rada-appointed Acting Interior Minister Arsen Avakov, the soldiers are being deployed with special forces soldiers known as "Omega" to Mariupol to help quell unrest.

Helicopters that landed included Mil Mi-17 transport helicopter transport helicopters at least one Mil Mi-24 helicopter gunship. BMP-1 and BDM-2 infantry fighting vehicles were also present.
