Turkey: Erdogan will "go after" Twitter for tax evasion
Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan threatened to "go after" Twitter and other online companies for tax evasion during a speech in Istanbul, Saturday.
The Prime Minister said that for-profit internet companies should pay Turkish taxes and also attacked the country's top court, which has sided with the Internet firms.
Turkey blocked access to Twitter on March 20, however the ban was lifted on April 3 after Ankara's highest court ruled that the governments decision breached the right to free speech. Meanwhile, Youtube has remained blocked in the country since March 27.
