      India: Spiderman spins web and scales buildings for votes

      India's 'spiderman', Gaurav Sharma, scaled residential buildings in Mumbai dressed in the superhero's costume calling upon residents to vote for him in the upcoming presidential elections, Wednesday. Sharma's political motives he says are inspired by the motto of Spiderman: "with great powers comes great responsibility."

      The political candidate and martial arts trainer is vying for a seat in the South Mumbai constituency in the election set to take place April 24. Regional voting began Monday and with more than 800 million people eligible to vote the election has been cast as the world's largest election.
