UAE: Dubai central is only a hop, skip and a jump away for the rich

The rich and famous of Dubai have a new way of travelling from the city's airport to the centre of town, as Dubai's Air Taxi was up and running on Monday. Businesspeople coming into the UAE on their executive jets can now hop on the small seaplane and take tour of the Dubai skies while skipping Dubai traffic. The regular taxi ride will take up to an hour, but using the Air Taxi takes around 30 minutes.

The service operates between Dubai World Central - Al Maktoum International Airport (DWC) and a number of hotels in Dubai, including Creek Park Hyatt.
