UK: Cardiff City FC supporters protest kit colour change
About 3,000 Cardiff City FC football fans protested on Saturday in Cardiff against the team's colour change from their traditional blue to red prior to the club's home fixture against Liverpool.
Fans marched through the streets of the Welsh capital to Cardiff City Stadium an hour before the match was set to begin, chanting "We'll always be blue!" and holding banners reading "Love Blue, Hate Red."
Saturday's protest was the largest to date since Cardiff City FC owner Vincent Tan's re-branding of the team's home kit in 2012. Cardiff City FC had previously worn a blue home shirt since 1908.
