Ukraine: Crimea will always be a part of Ukraine - Turchynov

Rada-appointed president of Ukraine Oleksandr Turchynov made a declaration to the Verkhovna Rada parliament in Kiev on Thursday, in which he urged the Ukrainian people to continue fighting for "Crimea's liberation".

Stating the Crimea has been and will always be part of Ukraine, he commented that Ukraine will prevail because "God and the truth are on our side".

The statement comes five days after Crimea voted in favour of joining the Russian Federation in referendum.
