      UK: Lavrov and Kerry discuss Crimea referendum

      Russian foreign minister Sergei Lavrov and US Secretary of State, John Kerry, met at Winfield House in London, Friday.

      The two discussed the current situation in Ukraine with specific reference to the Crimean referendum, which John Kerry wants to annul. If the referendum should go ahead Russia faces new sanctions from the US and the EU, who have called it illegal.
