      Germany: EU to work closely with IMF on financing for Ukraine - Merkel

      German Chancellor Angela Merkel held a press conference at the Bundestag about the situation in Ukraine on Thursday.

      She said an €11 billion ($15.33 billion) package of loans and grants for Ukraine needs to be delivered quickly, emphasising the need for close cooperation with the IMF to make it happen.

      Currently an IMF and EU delegation are on site in Kiev to gauge the situation.
