Malaysia: One passenger with stolen passport is Iranian - police

The Royal Malaysia Police have been investigating the cases of the stolen passports used to board the missing MH370 aircraft, and presented its first identification in Kuala Lumpur on Tuesday.

A man traveling with a suspected stolen Austrian passport is believed to be a 19-year-old Iranian with no likely background to any terrorist group. Tan Sri Khalid Abu Bakar, Chief Inspector of the Royal Malaysia Police, believes the man intended to migrate to Germany, where his mother was awaiting him.

The investigative police team says it is focusing on four areas: hijacking, sabotage or personal and psychological backgrounds of crew and passengers.

Tan Sri Khalid Abu Bakar said that his team needs more time to present further results.
