      Ukraine: UN's Robert Serry flies out of Simferopol

      UN representative Robert Serry flew out of Simferopol Airport on Wednesday, departing Crimea for Istanbul. Groups of journalists, local self-defence units and Ukrainian Parliament MP Nikolay Rudkovskiy, were seen at the airport shortly after Serry's departure.

      Rudkovskiy told the crowd that Serry recommended "all the sides seek a mutual understanding at the negotiation table."
