The Russian robot festival RoboFest 2014 came to an end on Friday, after two days filled with exhibitions and freestyle performances in Moscow.
The festival hosted more than 450 school teams from 45 regions across the country. The first day was attended by teams only, whereas the second was open to the public. Besides the freestyle performances, which were a main attraction, the festival featured a school of robotics for children, masterclasses for students, and roundtables and exhibitions by technical universities and companies.
Robofest also held the nationals of the FIRST Tech Challenge, whose winner will represent Russia at the FIRST-2014 world championship from April 23 to 26 in St. Louis, USA.
