Belgium: Strengthen special forces to "keep Ukraine together" - von der Leyen
German Defence Minister, Ursula von der Leyen, arrived in Brussels on Thursday for a NATO-Ukraine Commission (NUC) meeting to discuss the situation in Ukraine.
Speaking to journalists shortly after arriving, von der Leyen commented that the situation in the Crimea, saying "it is of the utmost importance that we prevent a break up of the Ukraine, and that special forces in the country are strengthened."
Defence Ministers Anders Fogh Rasmussen and Chuck Hagel will also be present at talks, as well as representatives from the Ukrainian defence ministry and other NATO countries.
