      Spain: Fujitsu sets a landmark in the world of technology - can you trust your senses?

      Mobile World Congress visitors were queuing at Fujitsu's stand to try its latest prototype of a tablet with a touch screen that simulates textures using ultrasonic vibration, in Barcelona on Thursday.

      The device offers the illusion of different surfaces, created by the friction between the display and user's finger. Stroking an alligator, opening a strongbox or playing a chord instrument are some of the possibilities offered by the prototype.

      The commercialisation of the tablet does not have a date yet, but it could presumably have several applications, including for online retail purposes.
