Brazil: Samba school parties harder than ever for Carnival
The Mangueira Samba School had all hands on deck with more than 8,000 participants at last minute rehearsals on Sunday for the carnival parade in Rio de Janeiro.
Thousands of dancers prepared their hot twists at the largest samba rehersal in Brazil, representing their school in the colours of green and pink inspired by the Rio de Janeiro based football team Fluminense.
Mangueira is the oldest exisiting Samba School in Rio, dating back to the early 1920s.
