Pakistan: Crown Saudi Prince flies to Islamabad
The Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia arrived to Islamabad Saturday, where he was greeted by Pakistan's Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif. Prince Salman Bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud also serves as the Minister of Defence and the the Deputy Prime Minister of the Saudi Kingdom.
The Prince's visit aims to strengthen bilateral relations between the two nations, with scheduled talks between him and the President and Prime Minister of Pakistan taking place this coming Thursday. The Saudi delegation is expected to buy some of the Pakistani jet fighters, produced by local and Chinese engineers.
The Crown Prince is accompanied by a high level delegation including Dr. Mohammad Bin Sulaiman Al-Jasser the Minister of Economy and Planning, Dr. Tawfiq Bin Fawzan Al-Rabiah the Minister for Comerce and Industry and Dr. Nazar Bin Obaid Madni the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs. A large number of Saudi businessmen are also part of the delegation. Prince Salman Bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud's arrival in Islamabad marks the third official day of his visit.
