      USA: Abraham Lincoln's 205th celebrated in D.C.

      The anniversary of Abraham Lincoln’s birthday was celebrated at the Lincoln Memorial in Washington D.C., Wednesday, with a wreath-laying ceremony and a reading of the Gettysburg Address.

      A representative delivered a speech commemorating Lincoln's 205th birthday as an audience listened on. Guards later trooped the American flag as the national anthem played.
