Bosnia and Herzegovina: Protesters leap from burning government building
As fire raged at the cantonal government building in the Bosnian city of Tuzla on Friday, protesters inside the building appeared to be stuck inside and had to jump from smashed windows to escape. Protesters and riot police surrounded the building as a fire also raged outside.
Protesters are angry at government corruption allegations as well as high-levels of unemployment, which currently stands at close to 30%. Government buildings have also been attacked in Zenica and Sarajevo as protests have spread to around 20 towns and cities.
