Central African Republic: French military personnel patrol northern Bangui
French military patrolled northern Bangui's Sibut village this week, part of operation 'Sangaris'. The soldiers joined the African-led International Support Mission to Central African Republic (MISCA) troops.
'Sangaris' operation, named after an African butterfly, has deployed more than 1,600 French soldiers to Central African Republic since December. The French have been patrolling alongside around 3,500 MISCA soldiers.
