      Argentina: Nine firefighters dead in warehouse fire

      Nine emergency responders were killed and seven others injured Wednesday as they battled a fire that destroyed an archive of corporate and banking industry documents in Argentina's capital of Buenos Aires. The fire at the Iron Mountain warehouse took several hours to bring under control.

      The nine firefighters and civil defence workers were crushed to death when a brick wall collapsed on top of them. At least half of the building was ruined despite the efforts of at least 10 squads of firefighters.
