      Ukraine: Spent munitions put on display in Kiev

      A small exhibition was organised at a tent near Independence Square Thursday, showing various objects which organisers say were used by police to injure protesters in clashes.

      Metal boxes, bolts and nuts, rubber bullets, cartridges and parts of pepper gas grenades were all exhibited to people passing the tent. Said one organiser: "Police fix metal parts like bolts and nuts with tape to stun grenades. They throw grenades and when they explode metal parts scatter and target legs and heads."
