Central African Republic: Belgian troops arrive to support intervention

A C130 Hercules military aircraft arrived in Bangui airport carrying deployed Belgian troops on Tuesday.

The move comes after French President Francois Hollande asked Belgium for support in Central African Republic last month.

The C-130 will be based in Bangui and will be used for internal flights and flights to countries that border the Central African Republic.

France currently has 1,600 troops deployed in the country.
