Belgium: NATO hosts 170th Chiefs of Defence meeting

NATO's Military Committee gathered for the second day as part of the 170th NATO Chiefs of Defence meeting in Brussels, Thursday.

This year's meeting will feature sessions with partners from the Mediterranean Dialogue (MD) and the Euro-Atlantic Partnership Council (EAPC) on how to further develop practical cooperation.

On Thursday, they will specifically focus on NATO Transformation and on activities that support the delivery of ready, relevant and effective NATO military capabilities.

Chairman of the Military Committee, General Knud Bartels, and Russian Chief of the General Staff Valery Gerasimov were among those in attendance.
