Ukraine: Lviv mobilises to join Kiev protesters
Activists and supporters of ongoing anti-government protests held a car rally in Lviv on Tuesday, with the intent of mobilising people to join the protests in the Ukrainian capital.
A convoy of around 60 cars drove through the western Ukrainian city under the slogan 'Slaves are not allowed in paradise' and called for Lviv residents to depart for Kiev, some of whom did so immediately after the rally.
Protests in Kiev have seen an upsurge of violence following recent anti-protest legislation that was rushed through parliament last week.
