Russia: Curlers take to the ice in Moscow's Red Square

In the spirit of the 2014 Sochi Winter Olympic Games, which begin next month, Moscow continued to host the first stage of the Men's international curling tour on Red Square on Tuesday.

The first stage of the competition, which began on Monday will end tomorrow, sees eight leading men's teams go head to head on the GUM store ice rink on Red Square.

Among them are champions of the Olympic Games 2006 from Canada, the 2012 European Championship bronze medalists from the Czech Republic , and the strongest teams from Denmark, Switzerland and Scotland.

The next stage of the tournament will be held in Hamburg.
