      Russia: We want a peaceful Syria where all minorities are respected - Lavrov

      Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov stated that the goal of the upcoming Geneva II talks is to try to and bring about peace in Syria, ensuring that it is both free from terrorism and a safe environment for all of its minority groups.

      Lavrov also added that the terms of any form of transitional government could not be dictated by him or anyone else, but had to be agreed between the Syrian delegations themselves.
