Russia: Tourists trickle into Sochi as Olympic clock ticks down

The clock is ticking ahead of the Sochi Olympic Games, with the February 7 opening ceremony now just three weeks away.

Tourists have begun arriving to soak up the pre-Games atmosphere. And with temperatures touching 13 degrees Celsius (55.4 Faranheit) in Sochi, visitors were able to stroll at leisure along the Black Sea coast, Friday, as planes flew in overhead.

Despite the relatively warm temperatures, the nearby mountains are covered in snow and await the arrival of Olympic skiers and snowboarders for the start of the Games.
