      France: Lavrov and Fabius talk Syria and C.A.R

      Russia's Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov and French Foreign Minister Laurent Fabius met in Paris in preparatory talks for the Geneva-II international conference on Syria, Monday.

      The talks also focused on other international issues that concern France and Russia. Heavy focus was on the conflict in Syria, whilst conflicts such as those in Mali and C.A.R were also discussed.

      The meeting set to improve bilateral cooperation and to co-ordinate the interests of both countries within the framework of international institutions. The Geneva-II conference will start on January 22.
