Russia: Space station astronauts wished happy new year from Father Frost
All-Russian Ded Moroz, meaning Father Frost and looking very similar to Santa Claus, congratulated the team of the International Space Station (ISS) with the upcoming New Year via tele bridge from the RKA Mission Control Centre, located in the town of Korolyov in the Moscow region, on Sunday.
Ded Moroz wished the ISS team, currently including Russian cosmonauts Oleg Kotov, Sergey Ryazansky, Mikhail Tyurin, American astronauts Michael Hopkins, Rick Mastrakkio and Japanese astronaut Koiti Vakata all the best.
