South Sudan: Christmas babies born in UN hospital
Three babies were born on Christmas day in the United Nations Mission in South Sudan (UNMISS) Level II Clinic in country's capitol Juba.
All three babies were girls and by the end of the day officials at the clinic expect a fourth one.
Chief Medical Officer at the Clinic, Colonel Phok Chanthy said that they have assisted in the births of a lot of children since the conflict began and the IDP camp was created in the compound, "So far we have thirty one, thirty one babies that live in Cambodian Level II Hospital. Thirty one" he said.
Some 30,000 civilians have sought refuge in UN camps across South Sudan following fighting between the government and opposition groups.
