Hundreds of farmers clashed with police outside the Hellenic Parliament on Friday while protesting against a new property tax that will extend to all farms.
MPs were preparing to vote on the new tax which is part of international bailout measures, when the farmers began throwing oranges at riot police and beating police shields with traditional shepherd walking sticks.
