      Russia: Putin - Russia to buy $15bn of Ukrainian government bonds

      Russian president Vladimir Putin announced that Russia intends to buy $15bn worth of Ukrainian government bonds during a meeting in Moscow on Monday.

      The meeting was part of the sixth Russian-Ukrainian Interstate Commission session held in Kremlin on Tuesday, under the chairmanship of Putin and Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych.

      Cooperation within the CIS and current international issues were also discussed during the session, alongside several other bilateral deals.
