      Iran: Lavrov holds press conference with counterpart Zarif

      Russian Foreign Minister, Sergei Lavrov met with his Iranian counterpart Mohammad Javad Zarif at a press conference in Tehran, Wednesday. The two discussed Syria, the recent nuclear deal in Geneva and co-operation ties between Iran and Russia, amongst other regional topics.

      Lavrov's visit follows the Geneva agreement on Iran's nuclear programme, which has thawed relations between Iran and the West.
