World leaders and celebrities arrived for the Memorial Service for Nelson Mandela in the FNB Stadium in Johannesburg on Monday. The VIPs arrived at a special entrance and took the elevator to the VIP stand after.

Among the VIP's were: U2 band leader Bono, Hollywood star and South African born Charlize Theron, The Archbishop Emeritus of Cape Town Desmond Tutu, former Secretary General of the United Nations Kofi Annan, British PM David Cameron, Hamid Karzai the President of Afghanistan and Thabo Mbeki the second post-apartheid President of South Africa and Mandela's chosen successor.
