      Ukraine: Protesters use park benches to reinforce barricades

      Park benches are being used by some protesters in Kiev Monday evening as makeshift barriers against possible police attempts to detain them as tensions simmer in the Ukrainian capital.

      Riot police have surrounded demonstration camps by the hundreds throughout the evening, dismantling barriers and barricades across the city.
