South Africa: Desmond Tutu honours Mandela in Johannesburg

The Nelson Mandela Foundation, Archbishop Emeritus Desmond Tutu together with and other organisations held a special tribute in honour of Nelson Mandela on Monday at the Nelson Mandela Centre of Memory in Houghton, Johannesburg.

The Police brass band began the tribute and the Soweto Gospel Choir hosted the event which was attended by dancing and singing. People signed messages in a guest book to South Africa's first black president.

Memorial events will culminate on December 15th when the late leader will receive a state funeral.
