Russia: Meet the new dual-screen Yotaphone
The dual-screened Yotaphone was launched by Russian company, Yota Devices, in Moscow on Wednesday. The device, which rolls two functionalities into one is both a phone and an e-reader. One side operates as a 4.3-inch Android phone, and the other side works as an e-reader with a reading capacity of over 60 hours.
Powered by the mid-range Snapdragon S4 processor, the device's hardware specifications are not bleeding edge. It does, however, hold a 12MP camera, either 32GB or 64GB internal memory, and the duality of its use has been cited by reviewers as making up for any technical lags.
The device has a RRP of €499 ($675) which, as Yotaphone's spokesperson concedes, is "lower than we [the company] indicated."
