The Christian funeral of five children and a grown man who died in a mortar attack Monday is due to be held near the Al-Mujtahid hospital in Damascus, Tuesday. The children died in a mortar attack which hit a school in a Christian district of Damascus.

The mother of one of the children killed in the attack said, "If President Assad wants to arm women, we do not have a problem with that - me and my children - we have no problem with that at all and I'm ready to be martyred along with the others."

The school will be closed for three days in mourning.
