Hundreds of die hard fans of The Hobbit lined up Monday at a New York theatre up to twelve hours early to attend a special event with actors of the new film that is to be released next month.
Fans travelled from around the country for "The Hobbit Fan Event" where they had the chance to ask questions to actors Orlando Bloom and Richard Armitage. Other stars of the movie were linked up via satellite from London and Los Angeles, while director Peter Jackson joined in from New Zealand. Anderson Cooper hosted the special event that was held at Manhattan's Lincoln Square Cinemas.
Fans also had the opportunity to see exclusive footage from the new movie. "The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug", which is set to hit theatres in the U.S. on December 13.
