      Russia: Friday raids on undocumented migrants, over 10 detained

      Moscow police raided numerous migrant's houses on Friday under Operation Signal. The police have said they will conduct these raids every Friday for the rest of the year as part of the latest step by authorities to fight unlawful immigration. The operation comes after violent anti-migrant demonstrations in the Biryoulovo district earlier this month.

      One of the raids that took place in Moscow's Petrovsko-Razumovskaya neighborhood resulted in the detention of over 10 migrants.
