Belgium: NATO will ensure 'right capabilities' for 21st century challenges
NATO Secretary General Anders Fogh Rasmussen spoke on Tuesday, at the beginning of a two-day meeting of defence ministers of the North Atlantic Council (NAC) in Brussels.
At the meeting Secretary Anders Fogh Rasmussen said, "The summit will review our substantial efforts in Afghanistan and define our support after 2014. And it will chart the course for the alliance after the conclusion of our longest and most demanding operation. So we need to maintain the focus on shaping our future security by ensuring that NATO has the right capabilities to deal with the challenges of the 21st century."
The two-day meeting in Brussels will discuss topics such as the increase in cyber-attacks, acceptance of new members and the military transition in Afghanistan.
