The Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences revealed on Tuesday from Stockholm, the winners of the 2013 Nobel Prize in Physics to be Professor François Englert and Professor Peter Higgs.
The prize was announced by permanent secretary of the Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences, Streffan Normark, "The Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences has decided to award the 2013 Nobel Prize in Physics to Professor François Englert at University Libre de Bruxelles, Belgique, and Professor Peter Higgs at University of Edinburgh, United Kingdom."
