Russia: Record-breaking firework show kicks off 'Circle of Light' Festival
The biggest firework show in Moscow's history was held on Monday evening above Sparrow Hills, one of the highest points in Moscow, as part of the ‘Circle of Light’ International Festival.
Thousands of Muscovites and tourists admired the show from the observation deck on Sparrow Hills, while those driving across Leninsky prospect, one of the main city arteries that is located nearby, could watch the show from their cars.
The five-day festival is expected draw over three million people.
