Russia: Antonio Banderas meets Moscow's screaming crowds

Spanish actor Antonio Banderas attended the premiere of his latest movie, Justin and the Knights of Valour, in Moscow on Thursday. Banderas, who produced as well as starred in the movie, took part in the red carpet premiere and signed a star for the Russian "Walk of Fame".

He also addressed his russian fan base with an official speech ahead of the premiere and attended an autograph session. Banderas, who partnered up with the Granada-based animation studio "Kandor", arrived in Moscow on Tuesday to promote the new cartoon.

According to Banderas, he got interested in animated films after starring in Dreamworks' Shrek II. The actor has already produced two cartoons: The Missing Lynx and the Oscar-nominated La dama y la muerte.
