      Germany: Volvo unveil first of three concept cars

      Volvo unveiled the Volvo Concept Coupe at the IAA car show in Frankfurt on Wednesday. The Volvo Concept Coupe is the company's latest automobile and one which is based on the classic P1800 model. The new model has a futuristic design, being the first in a series of three planned concept cars based on Volvo's new Scalable Product Architecture (SPA).

      The IAA plays host to some of the world's leading car manufacturers, showcasing their latest groundbreaking road-vehicle designs. The event is expected to pull a crowd of up to one million car lovers before it closes on September 22.
