Germany: 'Nobel Prize Winners Don't Start WWIII' say Anonymous
Three members of the international group Anonymous, a network of hacktivists, projected a political message on the side of the USA's embassy in Berlin at 1:00 CEST on Monday. Using a generator and a light projector, the two masked and unidentified Anonymous members mapped out the words: 'United Stasi of America, Nobel Prize Winners Don't Start WWIII' on to the American embassy building. The message board lasted for three minutes, before the members packed up their stuff and left the Holocaust Memorial, close to the USA's German embassy.
The message is a reference to President Barack Obama's award in 2009 for the Nobel Peace Prize, along with the USA's threat of a military strike in Syria. This is the second time the hacktivist group has projected a message in Berlin onto the USA embassy.
