Russia: Russia goes public with chemical weapons usage in Syria
Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov met his Moldovan counterpart Natalia Gherman for bilateral talks on Wednesday in Moscow. The sides discussed deeper trade and economic relations and the Transniestrian settlement.
At the news conference held after the talks, Lavrov said Russia is ready to make the data regarding use of chemical weapons in Syria public. Earlier, this information was transferred the United Nations.
Lavrov said, "If our American partners are now focused on supplying weapons to the Syrian opposition and giving publicity to the plans on striking a blow against the Syrian government, which are apparently underway – then it runs counter the agreements on holding a conference without any prerequisites."
