Russia: St Petersburg seduced by Sexpo

St Petersburg, known as Russia's capital of culture, was seduced by the ES.Expo - 2013, the second largest erotic exhibition in Russia held from June 7-9.

Leading companies of the sex industry, underwear and cosmetics manufacturers and retailers, as well as representatives from various night clubs and dance studios were present at the event. The erotic exhibition took place at the 10,000 sq metre (107,000 sq ft) Lakhtinsky trade and expo centre.

Leading manufacturer companies of the adult industry, such as Fleshlight, We-Vibe, Baci Lingerie, Soft Line, Shunga, Fetish Fantasy, Toys Media Gmbh and Sqweel were showing off their latest toys.

Apart from tools to diversify sex life, the expo featured body art expositions and pole-dancing competitions.

The expo was first hosted in June 2012, attracting some 10,000 visitors. Organisers expect more attendees this year, as they believe in promoting the culture of sexual life to the masses, stripping it of vulgarity and breaking down stereotypes.
