Russia: Lift off with Iron Man 3
Hollywood stars Robert Downey Jr and Sir Ben Kingsley took part in a press conference at the Metropol Moscow Hotel in the Russian capital, Wednesday before the worldwide release of popular action film Iron Man 3.
Sir Ben Kingsley has been cast as super-villain, The Mandarin, opposite Roberty Downey Jr who plays billionaire businessman Tony Stark whose superhero alter-ego is Iron Man.
Speaking about working with the Iron Man team, Sir Ben Kingsley said, "First I used to blessed my good fortune everyday for being with such a great team and secondly thanks to working with Shane Black, I tried very hard to stay within the moment."
Robert Downey Jr added, "The only thing I can say about the franchise and my co-workers and the experience of playing Tony is this time around for some reason or other it took a while to catch up with me. I'm just feeling an immense gratitude, you know?"
The movies are based on the popular Marvel comics created by writer Stan Lee. The first film, Iron Man was released in 2008 and was received with positive reviews ultimately grossing $570 million in worldwide box offices.
In 2011 IGN ranked Iron Man 12th in the Top 100 Comic Book Heroes.
